Working with local business KMF Precision Sheet Metal, we have received a 3d Printer to enable students to take part in the next Young Engineer Project.
Students are designing a new gadget prototype to be presented and demonstrated before the “Dragon’s Den” at Britannia Stadium next March, where the esteemed panel of judges will include Jason Bradbury from The Gadget Show.
Following the amazing team work in the Green Power events, we hope that University Academy Kidsgrove will again have a team to make the Academy proud.
The Design and Technology department would like to encourage businesses to take an active part in life at the Academy. If you feel that your business or employer would like to work with the Academy to enhance the skills of the young people, and to forge links with major employers such as KMF, then please contact us.
