Mario & Luigi help “Scotty’s Little Soldiers”

Mario and Luigi

Maryhill students, David and Chris, concocted fantastic costumes and came into school dressed as the Mario Bros – Mario and Luigi – they raised £23.47 for “Scotty’s Little Soldiers” the charity which supports children of men and women who lost their lives in Afghanistan.

This event was part of a school PACE day, during which students also raised money for the charity by paying £1 to come in to school without uniform.

PACE day fundraising and activities

PACE stands for Personal and Citizenship Education. The events continued all day with workshops, talks, discussions and other PACE related activities.
