On 13th December 2012, a group of Media Studies students travelled to the National Media Museum in Bradford for an inspirational trip to the various galleries and displays, presenting a history of the media industry within the UK, from TV to film.
As well as this, the students were also allowed to see a release day screening of the new Peter Jackson film, ‘The Hobbit’, which is a prequel to ‘The Lord of the Rings’ series, in stunning IMAX 3D!
All the students had an amazing time, and were blown away by the film they saw and inspired, as well as informed, by the various exhibitions the museum presented. Stay tuned for some reviews of the film by a few enthusiastic students in the near future!
