Primary schools learn to Code with UAK

Learning to Code at UAK

Pupils from local primary schools, St John’s and University Primary Academy Kidsgrove have been visiting UAK IT department over recent weeks, to get a taste of Computer Programming. They have created their own computer games using ‘Scratch’, a programming tool designed for children age 8 and upward.

Scratch is a great way for children and grown-ups to start learning Code, it is available free of charge from the Scratch website, so you can download it and play with it at home!
