UAK Choir & Christmas Lunch

During December 28 students from Years 7 to 11, with Mr Breeze, Ms Sexton and Mr Malbon The students were singing a selection of carols and seasonal songs to bring some festive cheer to at Tesco in Kidsgrove.

At the same time they were collecting donations for the Lou Macari Foundation for the Homeless. Their efforts raised £86.73 for the charity.

Mr Breeze said: “The students sang really well and were a credit to the Academy. This was endorsed by members of the public who made a number of very positive comments.”

Abbie-Leigh Thompson in Year 10 said: “Bringing joy to the community and watching them being involved made me extremely happy and put a smile on my face.”

Additionally, staff and students across the Academy celebrated the approach of the festive holiday with a Christmas Lunch. Images can be found below.
