During the summer term 22 girls from Years 9 and 10 have been given the opportunity to take part in learning some golf skills at Stone Driving Range. At the moment there is a national drive from England Golf to expose as many women to the sport as possible and our girls jumped at the chance to receive some expert coaching from golf coach Chris Long. The sessions were pitched just at the right level and the girls learned the basic skills whilst having fun and completing challenges.
It has been a valued addition to our extra-curricular timetable and we are lucky enough to receive the coaching again in September.
Many thanks to Chris Long at Stone Driving Range for his expertise and patience!
