Year 11 Charities

Students wanted to donate money to a charity for animals and have decided on the Dogs Trust as their chosen charity. Students debated which dog to adopt within their form groups and then took this to a meeting of the student council to agree upon a dog!

Year 11: Jake from Leeds

Age: 2-5 Yearspx8001057462_1901jpg

Gender: I’m a boy

About me: My big passion in life is FOOD !! So much so that I have mastered the art of opening kitchen cupboards. Due to my crimes, I have gained a few pounds and am now on a strict diet to help me lose weight.

Update December 2013: I’ve been a very good boy this year – honest! My training is going great and my carer Becky is really proud of me. We play this game where I have to sniff out a paper plate which smells like her, and I find it every time! Hopefully Santa Paws will find my stocking and fill it with lots of apple and carrot treats and maybe some turkey treats too. I’m really enjoying my walkies with my new doggy pal, Bob. He’s a Jack Ruddell and we have such fun when we’re out. We have races with each other and have a good old sniff in the snow! I’m sure one of these days, I’ll be able to track Santa’s sleigh with my nose.
